Zubaida Bibi learned her family’s fate in fragments. On 28 November 2025, armed officers from Punjab’s Crime Control Department conducted simultaneous raids in Bahawalpur and Sahiwal. They arrested eight male members of her family. They took everything else: mobile phones, cash, gold jewelry, her daughter’s wedding dowry.
